One retarded part of the game had me searching through several dozen pages of the hack's thread on a forum, the FAQ to the hack, several pages of google, and the bible (no joke). Some are jpop culture references, some are to minor japanese games you may have never heard of, and some are to the bible. On top of that, the game is filled with stupid references. This somehow defeats the evil guy (Once again, without explanation). The ninth fish runs through cloudy dicks and other nonsensical sentences. Instead of doing something, you "lose your mind" and start spouting gibberish. You lose the final fight no matter if you win or not, and the all powerful evil man (who comes out of nowhere and doesn't really relate to the plot you've learned so far) is about to destroy the world. You know how in fable 2 the game ended without a boss fight and people were upset? In this game, it's the same thing. I would put spoiler tags up, but I honestly think I should spoil this for everyone because I have no idea how anyone could enjoy this ending. But around halfway through the hack the author seemed to give up tying anything together and just decided to end it.

It raises more and more questions as you go along, and is incredibly interesting. The first few times you kind of give an inner chuckle to the situation, but it gets very old, very fast. The author thinks it's hilarious when he breaks the fourth wall.

Pokemon Snakewood is the worst hack I've ever played. Just search for Pokemon ROM hack and you can find dozens of completed hacks and even more in-progress ones. There are a lot of really great hacks out there on pokecommunity and a lot of others. It's a ton of fun to explore new regions.
